Let's Face it: Superdelegates Unfair

no matter how you slice it, having the superdelegates decide who wins the nomination is unfair. clinton superdelegates see their job in one way and obama superdelegates see it another way. the superdelegates aren't so super at all.
they are just like the rest of us. they either favor clinton or obama. all fairness as to who gets elected is out the window. power plays, exchanges for cabinet positions, favors for votes... i'm sure it's all happening behind closed doors.
is there truly a way that superdelegates could be fair? no. that's because there are no rules for supers. they have the right to make up their own minds.
will they do the right thing?
well, that depends on what you think the right thing is. obama supporters would say the right thing is to follow the will of the people -- who has the delegate lead. clinton supporters would argue that it's the big states that matter. blah, blah.
do you see the hole we're in.
obama needs to go above and beyond. unless obama can rack up some serious new voters in pennsylvania, sweep north carolina, do well in indiana, superdelegates will have more cause to be subjective in their decision making. if obama can pull away from clinton even further, then the supers will be pressured to do the right thing.
