The President and the First Lady will meet with President McAleese and Dr. McAleese of Ireland and later will meet with Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Mrs. Kenny. Later, the President and the First Lady will travel to Moneygall, Ireland, which is the town in Ireland where the President's ancestors came from. In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will return to Dublin and the President will deliver remarks at a public event about the ties between the United States and Ireland. On Tuesday, the President and the First Lady will travel to London, England. Following the arrival ceremony at Buckingham Palace, the President and the First Lady will have lunch with Her Majesty the Queen and the two U.S. and U.K. delegations. In the afternoon, the President will visit Westminster Abbey. In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend a dinner at Buckingham Palace hosted by Her Majesty the Queen. On Wednesday, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Cameron. Following the bilateral meeting, the President and the Prime Minister will attend an event hosted by Mrs. Cameron and the First Lady to honor military families, U.S. and U.K. service members and veterans. On Thursday, the President will travel from London, England to Deauville, France for the G-8 meetings. In Deauville, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Medvedev of Russia. On Friday, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Sarkozy of France. The President will then participate in the G-8 working sessions.
