Romney Sounds a Bit Schoolyard for the Presidency

Update June 1: More evidence of Mitt's low road to nowhere - Mitt's a Breitbart wannabe.

Who knows what he's talking about, but he sure sounds silly. Imagine Obama saying something like this. Wouldn't happen because Obama has the mind of an adult. I still say Romney's chances of winning are way overestimated by the media. That will become evident in the debates.

White House Press Briefing May 31

Some of the topics: Syria, DOMA, found unconstitutional by an appeals court, and the news that John Boehner reportedly called the doubling of student loan interest rates as a crisis manufactured by the democrats.

Boehner Says Student Loan Rates Will Double July 1

Calling it a crisis manufactured by the democrats, Boehner doesn't expect a compromise, which means interest rates for seven million students will double July 1:
House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) told Republicans Thursday that he expects Congress to be unable to find a compromise to ensure student loan rates do not double July 1, assuring colleagues that a recalcitrant Democratic-led Senate would be to blame for the rate hike.

At a closed-door meeting for House Republicans, Boehner characterized the issue as a crisis manufactured by Democrats in a year when the election will be dominated by job creation, according to a source who was in attendance. Read more at WaPo

Romney's Record as Governor Not so Good

This four-minute Obama ad makes up for the four-minute attack ad (I'm not kidding) put out by the republican network Fox News. In fighting back against this ad, the Romney campaign makes the point for Obama:
In the same release attacking Obama over “net” job loss, the Romney camp also defends Romney’s jobs record as Governor of Massachusetts by pointing out ... that Romney inherited a state economy that was losing jobs when he took office. Seriously. Read it at WaPo

Readout of Obama's Videoconference With Germany, France and Italy

This happened yesterday:
Earlier today President Obama held a videoconference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti. They discussed developments in Europe, following up on the discussions held at the G-8 Camp David Summit and at the informal meeting of European Union Leaders last week. Leaders agreed to continue to consult closely as they prepare to meet at the G-20 Summit in Mexico next month. Leaders also discussed recent developments in Syria and their shared perspectives on the importance of ending the violence of the government against its own people and the urgency of achieving a political transition.

What Could Be Better Than Dinner With Trump and Mitt?

Trump-a-Dump Romney's Rump wants to know and Twitter has some great answers, ice picks through the eye and that sort of thing.
If you're into torture, you can dine with Mitt and Trump.

Mitt Romney aligns himself with a birther (racist) and doesn't care:
