Ann Romney Talks About Presidential Vacations

Since the time I wrote this posts earlier today, the Hill has added facts to their story. What a concept!
President Obama, however, has not taken any foreign vacations during his presidency, usually celebrating the Christmas holiday in his home state of Hawaii and summering in Martha's Vineyard.
This is new too. The Hill acknowledges that the G20 is not a vacation:
Obama is spending his Monday is in the Mexican resort town of Los Cabos, but is unlikely to have time to enjoy the surf and sand. The president will be attending a meeting of the G-20, and plans face-to-face meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin over tensions in Syria and European leaders to discuss the financial crisis.

Last time I looked, when a presidential candidate/spouse was asked a question about vacations, the answer was: it's too early to talk about that. But Ann Romney talks about it and she talks about it as if she knew what a vacation was. She and her hubby have never needed a vacation. They've never worked a day in their lives. I can say that as a lowly blogger.
Most women work and raise children. Mitt's job wasn't a real job, one that would qualify him to even know how the poor and middle class even live in this country. That's why I'd love to see him build the Keystone pipeline all by himself, as he's threatened to do. His silver spoon is still hanging out of his mouth.
Ann Romney is incredibly unaware of her arrogance, and for someone with so much money, she sure is distasteful. They both live in bubble world. Mitt Romney thinks he's a big important businessman who can save the country. Ann is the doting, self righteous wife.
Ann Romney tells the Hill that she won't take as many overseas vacations as the Obamas, implying that the G20 is a vacation. I can only remember one overseas vacation and that is when FLOTUS went to Spain with the girls and Fox News went wild with racist remarks on its website. Oddly, the Hill didn't inform Ann Romney that the G20 is not a vacation.

Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said Monday that she doubted that she and her husband would vacation overseas as frequently as the Obamas if her husband were to win election.

Romney was responding to a question from WJR Detroit's Frank Beckmann, who asked Romney if her family would be vacationing as frequently as the Obamas.

"I doubt that," Romney replied. "Our vacations and our happiness come from being with our children and our grandchildren." But the potential future first lady didn't rule out vacationing at all, noting the Romney family has their "own places for that." "When we take a vacation, it'll be with our children and grandchildren," Romney repeated. The Hill
If you didn't hear, Ann Romney's horse is going to the London Olympics to do dressage, which has been called horse ballet:
Romney said she did ride Rafalca herself, but the level of competition in London was beyond her abilities. "I do ride this horse, but not in competition," Romney, the wife of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said Monday. "People say, 'Well you can ride at that level,' and I say, "Well…" It's like being the country club pro in one place, and then going to Wimbledon. You don't understand how professional these riders are that are riding at this level. It's quite competitive." CNN
